I don’t think Wanderlei Silva and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson will ever get along. Despite being destroyed by Silva twice, Rampage apparently called Silva, ‘The Chump Murderer’ in an interview, although he claims he doesn’t remember saying that. Regardless of what was said, Wanderlei found out about it and posted his reaction on his blog. Keep in mind that English is Wanderlei’s second language.
…For my surprise I sow that my nickname changed from Axe Murderer to Chump Murderer, but what I have to say is the nickname is Idiot murderer not idiots murderer, so the one of idiot I fought is Quinton who himself intitule as such, so everybody are respect fighters…. But is that thing: who beat forget but who take want revenge…
I’m pretty sure he’s calling Quinton an idiot because he beat him twice. When I first heard what Rampage had said, the first thought that popped into my mind was, “But you got destroyed by Wanderlei twice!” Who knows what really was said, but it gives a damn good reason for them to fight again.
…What I have to say Is that is a question of time to this fight happens again … He says that I don’t look at his face and I don’t really do this because I don’t like him … We can’t forget that he is in a good phase, and without any doubts he is a hard guy. But I think that this fight can happen before that you imagine… I don’t know if it pass throw Forest Griff.
I’m not going to go as far as saying that I think Forrest is going to beat Rampage, ‘cause I don’t see that happening, but it sounds like both these guys want to fight each other now. I’m not big on seeing two fighters matched up for a third time when fighter A destroyed fighter B the first two times (e.g., Anderson Silva/Rich Franklin), but I would be fired up to see these two go out at again. Maybe it’s because it’s been a long time since they fought? Maybe it’s because Rampage claims PRIDE was biased towards Wanderlei and he himself would win in the UFC where it was “fair”? Or maybe it’s guaranteed to be a war? I don’t know, but I’m definitely down to see it again.
