MMARated.com caught up with Affliction VP, Tom Atencio, to get his thoughts on the UFC putting together a last minute event to counter their MMA debut, Affliction “Banned.”
It’s just an example of how they want to control everything but at the same time it’s flattering as well. I guess they do view us as threat…absolutely.
Apparently this news hasn’t come as a shock to Atencio, since he claims he’s known about the UFC’s plans for a while. Tom definitely has his work cut out for him now.
