He looked tentative in the first minute, the first take down appears to be a mirko slip rather than overeem overpowering him. Overeem ground and pound was surprisingly strong. The reff’s favoured cro-cop, they were too early on the stand-ups the fight could have looked a lot uglier for CC had it not been so the stands-up. After the second stand-up, Overeem landed a groin shot straight away, so its hard to draw any conclusions out of cro-cop performance after that. Another two big groin shots followed which ended the fight.

I dont know what to make of that performance, a body a kick was all we saw, overeem showed us his cards and i guess CC will know what to expect now.

Its too early to draw any conclusion or write CC off. Cro-Cop is a counter striker, cro-cop used to back up guys coming after him but Overeem didn’t’t show any signs fear of CC hands or kicks. He just went after him without hesitation. Having said all that I still think CC will win at NYE.
