It didn’t take long for Sokoudjou to find a new home. According to an email Affliction sent out today, Sok’s been added to the “Day of Reckoning” fight card. He’ll be fighting Renato “Babalu” Sobral in a light heavyweight match on the pay-per-view card. The email also stated that the official fight card has been set. The only other addition not previously announced was Brett Cooper vs. Patrick Speight on the HDNet under card. The official Affliction website has yet to be updated, however, you can view the contents of the email and the final fight card here.

Quick update: Tom Atencio says Babalu vs. Sok isn’t signed, but rest assured they’re working hard on it, fully expect it to happen.
“[The website admins] jumped the gun like always. We’re finalizing an agreement now. It’s just a matter of how many fights and making sure that we all come to mutual agreements.”
Why am I not surprised?
