Strikeforce Looking To Set A New Precedent With All Access

Strikeforce & Showtime Deal

Fans without access to Showtime this Saturday have been given a unique opportunity to catch the action when the new Strikeforce debuts this weekend.

The Strikeforce All Access feature will cost $24.95 on Showtime’s web site, and it will give viewers the opportunity to choose their own camera angles and their own audio (either the fight call by Showtime announcers Gus Johnson, Mauro Ranallo and Pat Miletich or the audio corresponding to the chosen camera angle), chat with other fans while the fights are going on, view photos from the fights and purchase the fighters’ entrance music from iTunes.

Though the price may be a little bit steep, it should be interesting to see how this feature works. Strikeforce continues to take steps to ensure that they will remain relevant for quite some time, and by continuing with fan favorite matchmaking, as well as promotions like All Access, Strikeforce should only continue to grow.
