Did anybody watch this? I give props to the marketing team at Zuffa. They made the Silva/Lietes fight look like it might be good. I think we all see that Anderson will mutualate Thales before it even goes anywhere near the ground. Anybody that can stand and trade with Anderson Silva has my respect. Anybody that wants to get close enough to him to take him down might be a little nuts. The Liddell/Rua fight was already the true reason I am excited for this card, but they did well with it too.
Ya, they were definitely trying to make it seem like Leites has a good shot. I don’t think he does. He can certainly win, but it’s not too likely, and a fight that’s all too compelling.
I was happy to see Shogun working to get back into elite form. I don’t know if he’ll be there for this fight, but at least he’s working on it.
