“It’s going to be done when Chuck decides it’s done and we sit down somewhere on the beach probably in Hawaii and just say you know what it’s done, then we’ll decide. Not after a fight that he got stopped by one of the best fighters on a planet, that’s not the time to decide if it’s done or not. He’s been ko’d twice in his entire life. It’s not time to retire because of that.”
—Chuck Liddell’s longtime trainer, John Hackleman, talking to Action Sports about Chuck Liddell’s future.
The story goes on to say that Hackleman expects Chuck will make a decision in the next week. He also has one fight left on his contract. My bet is he honors it. If moving weight classes isn’t an option, Chuck’s long time PRIDE nemesis wants one more go around.

Maybe moving weight classes is an option and The Axe Murderer can still get his ‘one more go around’, considering Silva’s drop to 185.
I am a huge Liddell fan, and I want to see him go out with a win, but can he beat Wanderlei again? I kind of hope he throws it in, but I hope he makes the right call. Only he knows how his body and mind are. Dana can’t decide that for him, but I do believe Dana has Chuck’s best interest at heart.
