Affliction/M-1 held a press conference yesterday. Here’s a few notes courtesy of Nightmare of Battle.

• Vadim Finkelstein says Fedor is targetted to fight in July or August, possibly in Japan, “probably” against a top ten opponent. The Japanese are also negotiating with them M-1 for Fedor to fight on NYE in Japan.
• Rules still not set for Fedor-Aoki exhibition match
• Fedor has started training for his next fight (not the Aoki match)
• Fedor praised Aoki for his past performances. Aoki told Tom Atencio, “If you give me an Affliction t-shirt I will fight with all of my might.”

Update: Apparently, you won’t see this, at least not until nearly a week later. Fedor vs Aoki has been blacked out and won’t be shown until Monday, May 4, on a video-on-demand basis. Lame.
