According to his training partner and friend, Tiki Ghosn, he most surely is.
Ghosn said on Monday that he recently learned that he will join Team Rampage on the upcoming season of the UFC-Spike TV reality television show in a phone interview with TapouT Radio.
“I’m doing the next ‘Ultimate Fighter,'” Ghosn said. “I’m going to be the striking coach for Team Rampage.”
Although nothing is official at this time, there was a rumor that many Spike executives loved Quinton Jackson during his first stint on the show and would love to have him back for another go. Now that Ghosn has went on record saying that he would be a coach on Team Rampage next season, this rumor is sure to pick up more steam.
In fact, I expect that we might receive confirmation of the two coaches after the main event at UFC 98, where the winner should be slotted in to coach opposite of Rampage during the tenth season.
If I get my wish, Rashad and Rampage will get their chance to step into the cage with one another after all. On top of that, there may be plenty of time for the two of them to exchange verbal jabs during TUF 10 leading up to their fight.
Unless Lyoto Machida has anything to say about it, of course.
