Hmm, interesting Affliction chose to name their third event “Trilogy.” If I’m not mistaken, a trilogy implies there are three series of movies, books, events, etc., but there won’t be a fourth. Is Affliction trying to tell us something, or am I just reading too much into it?

Update: According to Michael D. Cohen, naming it “Trilogy” does not mean this will be the last Affliction event. He says there will be a fourth, fifth and sixth event, and probably one before the year is out. He also claims this event will be profitable.

Thats the first thing that came to my mind too. Maybe they mean trilogy as in Fedor beating the shit out of ex UFC champions trilogy maybe they’re running a little low on them these days.
My guess is this is the last Affliction event, if it does not turn profit; hence, the trilogy of failed promotions will be complete. If it does turn a profit, I do think they will have more, but I can’t see Affliction ever challenging the UFC. I think Dream may be the next legitimate threat to the UFC.
what channel will broadcast this event?
