
MMA may not be “mainstream” in the US just yet, but it’s on it’s way, and at least for now, Georges St. Pierre appears to be leading the charge. You may remember GSP landed a deal with Gatorade that put him in several “G” commercials in Canada, and now that deal is trickling down into the US as well. Above is a scan of GSP’s “That’s G” ad in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. GSP’s manager Shari Spencer commented on the deal.
“Georges’ relationship with Gatorade has recently expanded into the US, where he will be featured in a national print campaign launching July 1st that includes Rolling Stone magazine and outdoor advertising in the New York City & Los Angeles markets,” Spencer said.
I think Spencer just earned herself “Manager of the Year.”
