“I’ve improved dramatically. I hardly even lift weights anymore. I lift weights, but that’s not my main focus. I’m a fighter now, and I want to evolve and make myself a well-rounded fighter, so obviously I’m not going to leave any stone unturned, when it comes to submissions, submission defense, striking, knees, leg kicks, and also learning to defend everything. It’s not just an offensive sport because you’re going to take some punches and you’re going to give some punches. You’ve got to be able to handle both sides of the spectrum. I’ve brought in a number of highly trained trainers to help me evolve, and I believe we’ve left no stone unturned.”
—Brock Lesnar on the UFC 100 media teleconference claiming he’s much better fighter than he was when he first fought Frank Mir.
I don’t doubt Brock has “improved dramatically” even since his last fight against Randy Couture, but if Mir locks in a submission, I’m not expecting him to execute the appropriate escape either. That said, I’m betting Brock keeps himself out of any dangerous positions, and beats Frank Mir.
What do you guys think? Who wins? Mir or Lesnar?

mir wins by submission in the second round after trading blows and a rough first round
I am a Vegas boy so I am with Mir! I think some one will get knocked out, just a feeling I have when there is 500lbs of man in a cage!
Mir is far more skilled than Lesnar. But Lesnar has the “ham hogs” that can’t miss a face if they are thrown within 18 feet. It will be a short, explosive fight. It sill be a submission by Mir or KO by Lesnar.
Lesnar will win with a tko close to the end of round one
