Is Alistair Overeem Scared Of Brett Rogers?

Brett Rogers

Brett Rogers’ manager Mike Reilly thinks so.

“I don’t think Overeem was ever planning on fighting Brett. I think Overeem is afraid of Brett. He’s afraid of a big striker who is going to knock him out. … I don’t think anyone is going to admit that, but I’m not going to shy away from it. He’s had two opportunities to fight Brett but he hasn’t taken either of him.”

Yeah, Alistair Overeem knocks out Badr Hari, one of the baddest strikers on the planet, in his own sport, yet he’s afraid of fighting Brett Rogers? I doubt it.

Reilly isn’t sweating Strikeforce booking Werdum instead of his client though, he says they want the “biggest challenge” they can get and that’s Fabricio Werdum according to him, whom he says will submit Alistair “quick and easy.” Reilly also said all the heavyweights under 250lbs need to avoid Brett because all they’ll get is their “head spun around.”

Just one question, does that include Fedor?
