Dana White Talks To The Oregonian, Confirms Lil’ Nog Signing

Dana White sat down with Sean McGrath from The Oregonian to talk about everything UFC-related before UFC 102 kicks off this weekend in Portland. It’s a pretty solid interview, but the most interesting stuff comes at the end.

Dana was asked to rank how interested he is in signing certain fighters outside the UFC. Here’s his answers 1 (least) – 5 (most).

Shinya Aoki – 3
Hayato Mach Sakurai – 3
Gegard Mousasi – 7!
Joachim Hansen – 2
Eddie Alvarez – 3 (Don’t understand why he’s not higher on Alvarez)
Jorge Masvidal – 2
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira – “I got Lil’ Nog, he’s a five”

Dana goes on to say that Anderson Silva is not only the pound-for-pound best mixed martial artist, he’s the P4P best in all combat sports. He also said he’s not too interested in Silva vs GSP anymore after what he saw Anderson do to Forrest. Says GSP isn’t big enough.¬†Machida vs Silva is the fight he wants to book if they both continue to win.
