   The humor here is that this man is not getting anybody to side with him, but he is making him self look old, stale, and very uneducated. I’m resonabaly sure even John McCain’t has to admit MMA is a legit sport now. Well, Mr. Arum thanks for the laugh.

   wow bob is really old and needs some help. I understand his disgust and his generation basically doesnt enjoy anything anymore so what can we expect from a really old man? However from a boxing perspective he has some validity to his outburst but not much I mean ufc is growing everyday and has no plans on slowing down even if boxing becomes huge again with the younger generation. It is the younger audience who will depict wether or not ufc is bigger or better then boxing.
   I cant stand his john mccain approach and philosophy he needs to open his mind and maybe watch the fights in the octagon go to a ufc event now and see the anderson silva’s,lyoto machida,gsp, and bj penn’s and then try to tell me that there is no talent in mma! his statistics are way off someone needs to show him the numbers and maybe they already did n that explains his anger. Im not sure boxing wants theyre senior citizens calling mma fans skinheads, and pretty much calling us criminals who have tattos. Why would you call mma fighters and homosexuals who roll round on da ground, have no talent in boxing cant throw a punch to save their life and cant take a punch have no chin ? I dont think he won any fans over with those senile statements ! someone needs to put a muzzle on this guy, he is why boxing is crappy and will never reach the heights mma is at right now. All deez boxing promoters are diggin themselves bigger holes and losing interest from the fans. thats what its about the fans and all boxing promoters care about is money thats it. Boxers too instead of achieving some glory and pride by competing against world class opponents who will bring the best of them all that matters is the paycheck which in comparison to mma fighters is alot bigger, boxing wants money and competition second
   mma isn’t always more competitive and all guys are not world class but they fight 3 times a year or more and dont demand all the profits they understand that in the near future they will get bigger paydays it takes time. MMA is building and growing outside of the usa soon they will have shows everywhere and make much more money.

   At first this made me sightly mad, but now, looking back at it, I don’t even mind. this guy is destroying his credibility. His ignorance is exemplified by saying these guys can’t take or throw a punch. He clearly just has not seen many, if any MMA fights. Chuck Liddell can punch as hard as any pro boxer; Anderson Silva and Machida are very technically sound. Oh well, It’s not like anything some old boxing promoter says is going to carry much weight.

   Boxing is a beautiful sport but the business behind boxing is disgusting. That’s why people are so turned off by it and watch MMA now boxing is no longer pure and boxers fight for money…….. mma fighters fight to prove they are the best and more for the fans…. boxing has all too often let the fans down…. perfect example: mayweather vs pacquiao….will it ever happen???….who knows….. MMA is way more exciting…… Also calling MMA Fighters skinheads with tattoos… how many big name boxers have done time in prison???? I think any one on the street who isnt even a fan could name atleast a few…. i mean i could think of a few….. how many MMA fighters have been to prison???. i really cant think of any. How many Boxers are college educated….. i can name a few…… how many boxers are college graduates???… i really cant think of any……….. It’s a good thing MMA Fighters are skin heads with Tattoos…..lol
