Spike/UFC Counters CBS/Strikeforce With ‘UFC Main Events’

Spike TV logoIt was never a question of if. It was a question of what, and earlier today Spike and the UFC gave us the answer.

On November 7 at 9PM ET/PT, during the CBS telecast of Strikeforce “Fedor vs. Rogers”, Spike TV will air a two-hour special of four of the biggest UFC fights from the last few months.

Spike TV presents a special evening of recent UFC main event fights never-before-seen on cable (non-pay-per-view) on Saturday, November 7 (9:00 – 11:00pm ET/PT) showcasing the world’s best mixed martial arts fighters. The two-hour telecast, “UFC Main Events,” culminates with the highly-anticipated headlining bout of UFC 102 featuring Randy Couture and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Spike’s presentation of “UFC Main Events” will include the following fights.

  • UFC 102: Randy Couture vs .Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
  • UFC 103: Vitor Belfort vs. Rich Franklin
  • UFC 101: BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian
  • UFC 101: Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin

Yep, that’s the biggest guns the UFC can pull out of their war chest without putting on a live event.
