   Thanks for the link! The gladiator is too much of a cliche at this point, let alone a classic gay porn archetype. You remember the quote from the pilot in ‘Airplane’ ‘Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?’

   And if the goal is to sell MMA to that always elusive mainstream, packaging it like a real sport as CBS has done is much more effective…

     Ya man, no problem. The gladiator has definitely worn out it’s welcome. I don’t know why the UFC doesn’t change it. It’s not like they can’t afford it.
