It’s all but official now. A day after Spike TV announced that Kimbo Slice would fight on the TUF 10 Finale, his long-rumored opponent, Houston Alexander, confirmed he’ll be the man standing across from Kimbo in the Octagon on Dec. 5. Houston on 92.3 FM Todd N Tyler’s radio show via Bloody Elbow:
“Yeah, Kevin Ferguson. On December 5th. The fight was presented to us and we didn’t even hesitate.
… My hand is healed from the Sherman Pendergarst fight. We sparred on Sunday and it was 6 guys. We went 11 – 3 minute rounds. I’m practicing boxing, takedown defense, it’s just crazy.
Somebody’s getting knocked out and my guess is it’s not going to be Houston Alexander.
