   San-do looks awesome. It’s a lot more realistic than two sweaty guys with no clothes on rolling around on the mats. Of course the striking to the blind side could get someone hurt, that’s why it was taken out. The footage that is shown here is from one of the first fights. They have changed a few things to make it safer for the fighters and still an awesome show for true martial arts fans, not just the beer drinking rednecks that want to see someone just get knocked out. At least with the gi, we’ll be able to see true technique put to use. When’s the last time you saw two naked guys slugging it out in the street. If you have, I’d say you were probably in the wrong establishment or maybe it’s time to leave the nude beach.

   I fought in one trial fights to see how it would work about three years ago as San-do was getting started,I met the guys putting it together and I could tell they had a vision and a passion for martial arts and its evolution in the mma arena,its not for the weak just like any other cage or octagon,ring whatever it may be,it takes preperation,heart,courage and a warrior mentallity…so don’t knock it you have never fought in san-do, it is a great test of skill and awareness. When I fought I had a great time,its a test of skill and the people I fought were awsome and I respect everyone that has participated in the journey of san-do… grow some balls and try it out…if you have any…
