Vancouver’s GM Place Likely Venue For UFC 115 On June 12

It won’t take long for the UFC to return to Canada following UFC 113 on May 1 in Montreal. They’ll head back to Las Vegas on May 29 for UFC 114, but two weeks later, they’ll be back in the Great White North, specifically Vancouver, for UFC 115 on June 12.

A well-placed UFC source told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the promotion has penciled in June 12 as the date for an event at the 19,000-seat GM Place.

Back in December, the promotion cleared a legislative hurdle in holding an event within the city limits of the 2010 Winter Olympic host site; the Vancouver city council agreed to sanction events as part of a two-year pilot program.

Now if only Ontario would get with the program and regulate mixed martial arts.

    Most of the card isn’t exciting but the main even it. Liddell and Tito it’s gonna be a toe to toe war but of course the Iceman will win.
