UFC 113 was already shaping up to be huge with Lyoto Machida vs. Shogun Rua II and Rampage Jackson vs. Rashad Evans (tentatively) co-headlining, and now it’s getting even bigger.
According to Five Oz., Kimbo Slice will likely make his UFC pay-per-view debut against fellow TUF 10 cast member Matt Mitrione.
FiveOuncesofPain.com has recently learned from sources extremely close to the situation that Kimbo Slice next’s fight is expected to take place at UFC 113 against fellow TUF 10 heavyweight, Matt Mitrione.
While sources close to Mitrione have said he has yet to be approached about the fight, the heavy handed duo are considered highly likely to face off on May 1 from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
Mitrione isn’t the type of fighter I’m sure a lot of people were hoping to see Kimbo fight next, but considering they’re both somewhere near the bottom of the UFC heavyweight barrel, I think it’s the best match-up for both of them at this point. Or at least the most winnable for Kimbo.
Moving on, it looks like Paul Daley may get his wish to fight Josh Koscheck. According to MMA Junkie, Daley and Koscheck are expected to meet at UFC 113 if Kos is healed up in time from the injury that forced him out of UFC 109.
Mere weeks after calling out Thiago Alves and Josh Koscheck in the wake of a stunning knockout of Dustin Hazelett, U.K. striker Paul Daley (23-8-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) and Koscheck (14-4 MMA, 12-4 UFC) are expected to meet at UFC 113 in Montreal on May 1.
Sources close to the negotiations informed MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the two have verbally agreed to the match-up, though an undisclosed injury to Koscheck that scrapped his expected UFC 109 rematch with Paulo Thiago could hold up contracts from being signed.
It shouldn’t be too hard to get excited about this one. Daley thinks Koscheck would stand with him long enough to get knocked out, and I think he’s right about the first part at least. If Kos wasn’t afraid to strike with Anthony Johnson, I doubt he would be with Daley. It will be exciting at least for a round until either Kos gets KO’d or Daley gets taken down.
Also, Patrick Cote is expected to return to action against Alan Belcher at UFC 113. Cote will be coming off a 18-month layoff from the knee injury he suffered during his UFC 90 title fight against Anderson Silva.

mmmmm, Kos vs Daley is music to my ears. Kos was such a bitch against Johnson, I think he just deserves an angry Daley to shut him up for good. Now I just pray that Kos trash talks Semtex too much and dares to stand against him in the cage.
This fight card looks sick…I guess they didn’t like the ppv buys from 108
I like the kimbo vs matt mitrione match up. I wasnt very impressed with mitrione’s fights on TUF but i was very impressed with his fight againt marcus jones. I think Mitrione will knock kimbo out soley based on the fact that mitrione seems to have a much better chin that kimbo. Matt took some very hard punches from junk but they didnt even seem to daze him. Also matt seems to have worked on his cardio and takedown defense so i see him takeing this fight pretty easily. Sorry kimbo, but this is the end of the line for you.
kos has no damn chance he just runs his mouth like a b****., his wont get out the first round
kos is going to beat his like he beat up johnson………….
