“Well it took him all of a week. In the press he was talking shit about me, making shit up and that was enough for me. I had been looking at it as a tune-up fight because it’s a guy that I have knocked out twice. Now I am looking at it as a fight where I want to destroy the guy. I want to put him into permanent retirement….I think [Tito] overheard me when I was telling Dana in November that I had decided to not drink through filming of the show because I figured it would help in getting myself fit and ready to fight after a year layoff. He changed that into Dana had staged an intervention and had to tell me I was an alcoholic and so on, which is completely not true, [Tito] was just making shit up…I have a problem with him. You can lip off if you want but… I think he realises he went too far, that he has pissed me off and he is going to get himself hurt.”
—Chuck Liddell talking to the media about his renewed beef with Tito Ortiz
Chuck says as far he knows he’s still fighting Tito, but everyone involved in TUF signs super-strict NDA’s, so no one is saying otherwise except a few nameless sources who claim Chuck is on track to fight Rich Franklin. Either way, Chuck Liddell returns to action in June and intends to incorporate a little more jiu-jitsu into his game to keep his opponents guessing. And no, he’s not ruling out one last title run.
Also, Chuck will make a guest appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” tonight to promote the upcoming season of TUF which premieres tomorrow night on Spike TV immediately following UFC Fight Night 21.

Update: What’s better than a fight we’ve already seen twice? A fight we’ve already seen three times!
A fourth bout between UFC Hall of Famers Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture is currently being planned for UFC 116 on July 3.
A source close to the promotion informed Heavy.com of the news on Tuesday afternoon.
The bout would serve as the co-main event of the blockbuster card that is expected to be headlined by a UFC heavyweight title bout between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin.
Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin and Randy Couture vs. Rich Franklin have been rumored, so why not throw Chuck Liddell vs. Randy Couture in the hat too? In other words, don’t take this news as gospel.
