Rogers’ Manager: Commission Will Require Olympic Style Drug Testing Of Overeem

According to Brett Rogers’ manager, Mike Riley, the Missouri Office of Athletics (state commission) will require Alistair Overeem to submit to the type of strict drug testing that Olympic athletes are subjected to.

We’ve been notified by [Missouri's athletic] commission that testing will be strict. They’re going to use the same sort of testing that the Olympic commission uses, the same sort of testing that they use out here in California. So very strict steroid testing, and they’ve also been talking about [testing for HGH]. I don’t know if they can test for that, but it sounds like they’re gonna go to that level.

It’s my understanding that Olympic testing is much more involved than the testing the CSAC requires, so I’m not sure how accurate Riley’s statement is. Consider this more of a rumor for now.
