UFC 115 Was A Painful Endeavor For Rich Franklin And Pat Barry (Update)

Rich Franklin didn’t seem to be in too much pain from his broken arm as he stood in the Octagon victorious at UFC 115, but that quickly changed when doctors attempted to remove his hand wrap backstage.

No video of Pat Barry’s broken hand and broken foot, but these two pics of them swollen twice their size pretty much confirm Barry is in a lot of pain himself.

Rich will be in a cast for at least the next 8 weeks. No word on how long Barry will be out of commission.

Update: Pat Barry will be in a cast and boot for a minimum of 5 weeks, but won’t need surgery. He says he never got Cro Cop’s autograph, but he got something better.

“But I do have something better; I’m going to have a scar on my hand for the rest of my life, and he’s texting me and calling me,” Barry said. “He called me yesterday to see how I was doing.

“So I’ve got a broken hand, a broken foot, a big bruise on my forehead, and I’ve also got his home address and phone number. An autograph can be washed away if another hurricane comes, but this lump in my hand is going to be there forever.”
