What Soccer Would Look Like If You Could Punch The Other Team In The Face

Between XARM and San-Do Triple Warrior Combat, we’ve seen some pretty ridiculous sports (for lack of a better term) spawn from MMA, but we’ve never seen MMA merge with a team sport. Enter the Fight Football League. It’s not really an offshoot of MMA in the way that XARM and San-Do are, but it incorporates elements of MMA into it’s game, specifically the gloves, the punching and the takedowns. I’m not gonna lie, beyond that I don’t really know much about it. It looks like a cross between soccer, football, rugby and MMA/boxing, but really it’s a couple guys trying to throw a ball in a box while everyone else stands around and punches each other in the face. Awesome.

If that sounds like your idea of a good time, you can check out a full match embedded below.
