A Sign Mark Hunt Is Taking His Shot In The UFC Seriously

The last time Mark Hunt competed in MMA he weighed in at 286 lbs. (21 lbs. over the current heavyweight limit of 265). And those of you familiar with Hunt know we’re not talking about the same 286 lbs. we’ve seen on someone like Brock Lesnar or Shane Carwin. Hunt’s always been a little soft to say the least.

Not anymore though. Check out the picture above. At first glance, you might not recognize him, but that’s Mark Hunt there in the middle looking like he’s dropped some serious weight. No word on how much, but he’s training with the boys at ATT down in Coconut Creek for his upcoming UFC debut against Sean McCorkle at UFC 119, and it appears he’s been working hard. Hunt, who admittedly hasn’t taken training seriously in years, said this was his last chance and he planned to make the most of it. Looks like he wasn’t kidding.
