Anthony Pettis’ “Showtime Kick” may have been the prettiest move at WEC 53, but it wasn’t the most devastating. Eddie Wineland not only knocked out Ken Stone with a huge slam, he also put him on a stretcher. It was a scary moment according to the various media members who were in attendance. There were even rumors floating around the arena that Stone had a broken neck, but thankfully they proved to be false. Stone didn’t sustain any serious injuries and was up and moving around on his own later that night.
