Tito Ortiz vs. Lil’ Nog Moved From UFC 128 To UFC Fight Night 24 Main Event

Tito Ortiz vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will no longer take place at UFC 128 as originally expected. Instead, the fight will headline UFC Fight Night 24 on March 26 in Seattle. Tito hinted at the change this morning, and MMA Junkie followed up and confirmed the details.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) has learned that the contest, which was originally thought to be scheduled for UFC 128, will instead headline UFC Fight Night 24.

While UFC Fight Night 24 has yet to be officially announced by the promotion, the event is expected to take place March 26 in Seattle and air on the UFC’s longtime cable partner, Spike TV.

UFC Fight Night 24 represents the UFC’s first visit to Washington. While a venue has not yet been announced for the event, Seattle’s 17,000-seat KeyArena would seem a likely target.

UFC Fight Night 24 will serve as a lead-in for the TUF 13 premiere scheduled later that night on Spike.

Fight Night makes much more sense for a Tito fight. I know a lot of people on here will disagree with me, but I think he is well past his prime and he doesn’t have the draw he once had…
