Dana White Would Rather See Rampage-Hamill Than Another Rampage-Rashad ‘Snoozefest’

“Talking’s fun before the fight, but if you do all this talking and then you go in there and don’t fight, who wants to see that (crap) again? Rampage-Rashad, the (freaking) snoozefest? I don’t want to see that (freaking) fight again… Matt Hamill and Rampage might not talk a bunch of (crap) about each other before the fight, but when have you not seen Matt Hamill fight? Matt Hamill’s going to go in there and try to beat him.”

—Dana White telling USA Today that he’d rather see Rampage vs. Hamill than Rampage vs. Rashad II

I agree that Rampage Jackson vs. Rashad Evans didn’t live up to the hype. Rashad came in with the “smart gameplan” and turned the brawl we all wanted to see into wrestling match. With the exception of Rampage nearly come knocking Rashad out in the third, it was a bit of a “snoozefest.” Still, I’d still rather see Rampage and Rashad go at one more time than watch Rampage throw down with Matt Hamill. Rampage-Hamill will probably be a better fight, but man, I just can’t get excited for it.
