Randy Couture Leaves The Door Cracked For A Fight After UFC 129

Randy Couture has made it crystal clear in the past week that he plans to finally retire from mixed martial arts following his fight against Lyoto Machida at UFC 129. Well, he’s not really backing off those statements, but he did leave the door slightly cracked in this interview with Steve Cofield. In order to come back, Couture says Dana White would really have to “step it up” to persuade him to get back in the cage. When asked to clarify what “step it up” means, whether it be money or a specific opponent, Randy wouldn’t say, but he still seems pretty intent on retiring unless he’s given an offer he just can’t refuse.

Meanwhile, Dana White doesn’t seem nearly as convinced as everyone else that this is Randy’s last fight.
