Fedor Emelianenko hasn’t just been training with Ernesto Hoost in Holland and his brother, Aleksander Emelianenko, in Russia for his upcoming bout against Dan Henderson next weekend. He’s also been sparring with undefeated pro boxer, Denis Lebedov, who recently knocked out Roy Jones Jr. Now I’m definitely not qualified to tell Fedor Emelianenko how to train, but I do find it a little odd that Fedor would be sparring with a southpaw pro boxer when he’s preparing for a fighter whose orthodox stand-up consists of one devastating right hand, but not much else. Nevertheless, you can check out Fedor throwing hands with Lebedov in the video above.
Props to Cage Potato for the video tip
Below, MMA Weekly has the full audio from today’s Strikeforce “Fedor vs. Henderson” conference call. If you don’t want to sit through the whole thing to hear Fedor’s answers, I can sum them up for you in two words: “God’s will.”
