Mayhem Miller Explains Sibling Assault Arrest

There’s two sides to every story and Mayhem Miller’s version of what happened when he was arrested for putting his sister in a headlock last month paints a much different picture than the TMZ report did. As Mayhem explained on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani yesterday, he was trying to stop his sister from driving under the influence.

“I’ll just say this: my sister was not in any state to drive, and I stopped her from driving,” Miller told Ariel Helwani. “However, she was in a state to file a police report, which is now all over with. It’s all finished. It was unfounded…a Miller family experience that got out of hand.”

“Look, my sister is a big girl,” he said. “She’s like 200 pounds and strong, muscle girl. I had to hold her, like, for real hold her. There’s no wrist-controlling your big sister, you know what I’m saying? You’ve got to like, hold on to her.”

“If I had to do it all over again, I would do exactly the same thing,” Miller said.

Mayhem says the incident is behind him and he doesn’t expect any further legal action that could put the brakes on his fighting career. All he can think about now, he says, is fighting Michael Bisping on Dec. 3.
