UFC Undisputed 3 PRIDE Roster Revealed

The rumors were true. There is a separate PRIDE roster in UFC Undisputed 3 and THQ has revealed which fighters made the list.

Several PRIDE staples like Fedor Emelianenko, Alistair Overeem, Josh Barnett, Ricardo Arona and Kazushi Sakuraba (to name a few) are missing, but their absence is more than made up with the inclusion of one name — Don Frye. I might buy it just for him!

Sapp and Bustamante make the list but Fedor, Overeem, and Barnett don’t? That’s pretty dumb. Was this a case of Dana White grinding axes or is there a better explaination? It seems a little retarded to make a Pride roster and exclude 3 of the best heavyweights to compete there. I’m not a Fedor fan at all, but to ignore the fact that he ruled PRIDE for like 8 years is ridiculous on Zuffa’s part. But I’m sure M1 would have objected anyway and demanded a billion dollars, so maybe it’s moot.

I agree that those 3 fighters would be great to have in this game but I think the reason they aren’t in it is the same reason randy couture isn’t in the game and that is because EA sports owns their likeness rights or what ever its called for true own EA sports mma game,it would be cool if now that zuffa owns strikeforce there would be some sort of collaboration between thq and EA to make an ultimate mma game where you could have ufc,strikeforce,wec,pride,and smaller shows,but I don’t know if thats possible,you could have the ultimate roster of fighters,but hey we can always dream
