Mirko Cro Cop Not Done Fighting, Returning To Kickboxing

Mirko Cro Cop’s UFC career may be over, but that doesn’t mean he’s done fighting. In this video interview with, Cro Cop reveals that the next chapter in his storied career will bring him back to his roots — kickboxing. He’s currently recovering from a ruptured bicep that he sustained 10 days before the Roy Nelson fight, but once it heals, he plans to fight a top name K-1 fighter in his hometown of Zagreb, Croatia.

Cro Cop went on to explain that he lost his motivation to be the best after he won the 2006 PRIDE Open-Weight Grand Prix and his body started breaking down from all the years of heavy competition, but says the fire in him to compete will never be lost. For better or worse, Cro Cop will probably continue fighting until his body won’t let him.
