Rampage Jackson Will Face Shogun Rua In His Last UFC Fight

Before Rampage Jackson leaves the UFC, he’ll at least get the fight he wanted all along — a rematch with Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

Ariel Helwani reported the news on tonight’s edition of UFC Tonight. Additionally, the UFC has agreed to release Rampage from the UFC following the fight in the wake of his latest tirade against the organization.

In short, Rampage should be happy enough with the UFC now. They gave him the fight he always wanted and the clearance to walk away when it’s over.

It’s unclear which event the fight will take place at, but it is expected sometime this summer.

If rampage shows the aggression he’s shown in his last couple of fights or lack there of,I’d expect shogun to run through him easily, its just too bad that shogun can’t soccer kick the s*** out of him

great fight for shogun because he put on one of the greatest fights ever last time out against hendo and rampage just seems a shadow of the fighter he was a few years ago. rampage is just looking for a way out of the ufc and as much as i love the guy its going to be hard to watch him leave with a tko loss but thats how i see this one playing out.

Very sexy fight its what iv been waiting for. After Shogun KOs Rampage its Bader time very sexual indeed!

Hopefully we will see a repeat of Shogun’s previous ko over Rampage. I hope Rampage finally retires and pursues his laughable rap career.

Well said Ben. But i think i will call you Mr Kitty still thank and good night!

I think this might be the only fight that can really get Ramapage motivated. He jus hasn’t had that fire since he lost his belt. Hopefully both fighters come in healthy an motivated, cause that will make for a great fight!
