The UFC continues to add quality fighters to the 145-pound division, as 20-win prospect Hacran Dias announced he has signed a three-fight deal with the promotion.
Dias, during an interview on Sensei SporTV, announced the contract signing. Competing out of the Nova Uniao camp, Dias is 20-1-1, and a frequent training partner of UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo.
“Today is the happiest day of my life,” said Dias, who does not have a date or opponent set to date. “I’m very happy with everything that’s happening to me.”
Dias is on an eight-fight win streak and joins teammates Aldo, Renan Barao, Johnny Eduardo and Luis Ramos. Being a teammate of Aldo’s it remains to be seen if he would fight “Scarface.” But, given the past comments by UFC president Dana White concerning the need for teammates to face each other, I am sure he could be pushed to do so for a chance at the UFC title.
