Chuck Liddell Would Only Consider Coming Out of Retirement For a UFC Title Shot

There’s only one thing Chuck Liddell would come out of retirement for — a UFC light heavyweight title shot. As he put it in this interview with Ariel Helwani on last night’s episode of UFC Tonight, Liddell doesn’t want to come back to be a “sideshow.” Fortunately for Chuck’s noggin though, there’s virtually no chance that opportunity presents itself for a number of reasons, the biggest being Dana White would never let it happen.

What is Liddell thininking???  He had a great career but he is finished. Dana is smart enough to know how ridiculous this sounds….

    Against Jones, then? Alright..

i think its a good match up. chuck has great takedown deffence and jon doesnt really have one punch knock out power so. its a good match up and dont forget chuck was in the shogun fight and in the rich franklin fight… he just got caught

He gets caught often because he leaves himself wide open. Jones would make quick work of Liddell….

Chuck liddell is the reason I started watching the sport and my favorite fighter of all time, when I read the headline it made me think of some pretty farfetched match-up and chuck being on top once again, but then reality set in,the last thing I want to see is chuck getting ko’d one more time,I really hope dana is more of a friend to chuck than a boss because is hate for him to try and make money off of an opportunity like this

pretty sure jones would best liddel even in his prime. at this point jones would give him more brain damage for sure.
