Several sources, including MMA Junkie’s John Morgan, are reporting that Benson Henderson’s first title defense of his UFC lightweight crown will come at UFC 150 on August 11 against Frankie Edgar.

UFC officials have yet to make an official announcement in regards to the fight or even the location. The Pepsi Center would host if Denver is selected as reports state.

“Smooth” claimed the title with a decision victory over “The Answer” earlier this year in Japan. Many felt like it was such a close ruling that Edgar would receive an immediate rematch, but it took a few weeks before the announcement was made.
