UFC on FOX 3 Final Ratings Only A Slight Improvement Over Overnight Ratings

The final ratings are in for UFC on FOX 3 and while they are an improvement from the paltry overnights, they’re not much of an improvement.

The final tally: 2.4 million average, 2.9 million peak, 1.6 M18-34

No matter how you spin it, it’s still a significant viewership drop from the first two UFC on FOX shows.

  • UFC on FOX 1: 5.7M average, 8.8M peak
  • UFC on FOX 2: 4.6M average, 6.08M peak
  • UFC on FOX 3: 2.4M average, 2.9M peak

While I would argue that a lack of star power in the line-up is the main culprit for the decline in viewership, I’ll concede that the Mayweather-Cotto fight and the lack of promotional opportunities that the football games gave the first two shows as many of you suggested were contributing factors as well.

Great fights. Bummer millions of people missed out on them.
