Coach For Junior Dos Santos Says No Cain Velasquez Bout At UFC 152

Yuri Carlton, the coach for UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, is dispelling rumors of a dos Santos-Cain Velasquez rematch at UFC 152 in an interview with Fighter’s Only Magazine.

The fight is with Velasquez, but no definite date. It was speculated for September, but that is unreal. Velasquez is also with a broken hand, it’s not resolved, so I think the UFC will wait a little longer.

Dos Santos claimed the UFC title from Velasquez last year, earning a knockout victory. UFC president Dana White has said Velasquez will be the likely next contender to square off with dos Santos. Carlton added that a rematch is more likely to take place in November or December.
