Michael Bisping Says Hector Lombard Was In ‘Sub-par Organization’

Hector Lombard has received a lot of heat from fellow UFC fighters since signing with the promotion.

While nothing has been etched in stone, UFC president Dana White has eluded to a possible future UFC middleweight title shot for Lombard if he shows the skills he did dominating Bellator and other promotions for several years.

Well, you can add Michael Bisping to those that feel like Lombard has a lot to prove. “The Count” was a recent guest on UFC Tonight where he was asked about his status in the division.

Well, listen; you know, I have been in several No. 1 contender match ups in the past and I have no one to blame but myself because I have lost those match ups. But, I have been in the UFC for a while now and I deserve a fight. Regarding Hector Lombard, I have never seen him fight. It is hard enough keeping up with the UFC, let alone some sub-par organization. He could be great, but we aren’t going to know because I haven’t seen him fight.

Bisping recently had surgery to repair his knee, as he tore his meniscus. He believes he’ll be back to action in less than a month.

I’ve seen him fight….and Lombard is a beast, and will be a handful for anyone at 185

I agree Lombard has a lot to prove. You never know how good someone is until they’ve tested the deep waters of the UFC.

We can only guess, but my guess is Lobard will murder anyone in middleweight… Lombard, Glover Teixeira and Erick Silva are coming to shake things up!

I truly hope you are correct! The UFC desperately needs a few good fighters to come in and shake up those divisions. We have a few hungry fighters at WW. And i think there are still a few good match ups for Anderson Silva at MW. Being that one of them in my opinion is a rematch with Vitor. But these divisions need new blood to make them exciting.

I want to see the Silva-Belfort rematch as well.

Anyone who hasn’t seen hector lombard fight doesn’t know what the fuck there talking about. Watch as he tools tim.

Sounds like bitchsping is a little jealous that fans want to actually see Hector fight for the belt while everybody wants to see him get ko’d in every fight, and like he said he’s fucked up every op he’s had at the title so why complain if someone else gets teshot

I wanna see Belcher fight again. I think he has the tools to beat anyone in the middleweight division right now.
