Justin Lawrence Drops To Featherweight, Faces Max Holloway in Denver

He’s not likely to be the last, but the first of the TUF Live alumni to make the drop to featherweight is “The American Kid”.

The undefeated prospect, Justin Lawrence, who made his UFC debut by absolutely destroying fellow cast-mate John Cofer with a third round head kick, will be making his debut in his new weight class at UFC 150, where he takes on fellow striker Max Holloway.

Holloway fell short in his UFC debut when he was outclassed and handed his first loss by rising prospect Dustin Poirier, but had no problem dismantling Pat Schilling at the TUF Live Finale.

Likely to take place on the preliminary card, this bout has fight of the night written all over it.

Holloway fought pretty impressively in his last bout and Lawrence awed me with that head kick ko and his performance on the ultimate fighter was impressive as well so this should be a good test for both guys to see where they stand
