UFC 147 Card Complete With TUF Brazil Finals and Loaded Preliminary Card

Following tonight’s season finale of TUF Brazil, in which Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira defeated Thiago “Bodao” de Oliveira Perpetuo in a violent fashion, the UFC 147 fight card has filled out as the finals for both the middleweight and featherweight tournaments are set.

To go along with the previously announced main card bouts between headliners Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin, Mike Russow and Fabricio Werdum, and Yuri Alcantara and Hacran Dias, officials have confirmed the featherweight final bout with Rony “Jason” Mariano Bezerra taking on Godofredo “Pepey” de Oliveira. The middleweight final was also announced, as Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira is set to face off against Sergio “Serginho” Moraes. Moraes steps in as a replacement for Daniel Sarafian, who defeated him in the semifinals, but was forced to withdraw due to injury.

The preliminary card has also filled out, as UFC officials announced a card full of TUF Brazil cast members, fighting for their shot inside the octagon.

Rounding out the earlier portion of the event will be Rodrigo Damm, who takes on Anistavio “Gasparzinho” Medeiros de Figueiredo; Delson “Pe De Chumbo” Heleno, who squares off against Francisco “Massaranduba” Drinaldo; John “Macapa” Teixeira, who steps into the octagon with Hugo “Wolverine” Viana; Thiago “Bodao” de Oliveira Perpetuo, who takes on Leonardo “Macarrao” Mafra Teixeira; Marcos Vinicius “Vina” Borges Pancini, who fights Wagner “Galeto” Campos; and Felipe Arantes who takes on Milton Vieira.

UFC 147 takes place this Saturday from the Estádio Jornalista Felipe Drumond in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The main card will take place on pay-per-view at 10pm ET, and the aforementioned preliminary card will take place on FX at 8pm ET.

this card should not be ppv

I guess this evente will reach the lowest PPV sales ever, I mean … Come on … a main avente that makes no sense at all in the title picture, a co-main with an obvious winner and more fights with fighters that nobody knows and nobody are anxious to watch. It would be stupid to try to sell that

I understand you’re out of Brazil, here we’re loving it.
The players are making their best to reach the final round on PPV.
      Have your followed the matches?

I agree, but I’ll be buying it anyways.  Hopefully these TUF brazil fighters can put on a good show.

Man, it’s a huge pity for UFC losing Daniel Sarafian in the finals against Cezar Mutante. They are the best in the house. On the feathers, I’ll be rooting for Rony Jason for being more well rounded.

Despite all that, it’ll be nice to see the others fighting against each other.

I agree about the weak card at $55 PPV…not good!
