Alistair Overeem Eyeing December Return, Wants The UFC Heavyweight Champion

Fans of Alistair Overeem may be in for a Merry Christmas this year.

The former DREAM and Strikeforce heavyweight champion, who is currently serving a suspension until December 27th due to registering a 14-to-1 testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) ratio, took to Twitter recently to make his intentions very clear.

I’ll be fighting again in December and mark my words, I’ll be back.. to get the belt, sooner rather later.

The UFC’s year-end show, which is typically the biggest show of the year, and is the very show where Overeem made his promotional debut, retiring former champion Brock Lesnar, is expected to take place on December 29th. Obviously this is the show that Overeem intends to return on.

For his part, Alistair is doing what he can to get in the good books of the Nevada Athletic State Commission.

I’m doing a drug test today to build confidence with the Nevada state athletic commission and because I respect and appreciate the UFC.

The Dutch striker was not finished though. He had some words for a certain UFC heavyweight champion.

And to let junior know I am a clean fighter, I’m all natural Junior.. and I am coming for you
