Dan Hardy Faces Amir Sadollah In Nottingham

Here’s hoping he doesn’t walk out to “I’m Coming Home.”

The English striker, Dan Hardy, is indeed returning to his homeland as the UFC makes the trip to Nottingham for UFC on FUEL TV 5 this fall. Hardy, who narrowly avoided being cut after he halted his four fight losing streak by knocking out Duane Ludwig at UFC 146, will look to build off of that momentum as he takes on Amir Sadollah.

Baboo Baby, as he is so lovingly referred to on the UG, looks for his fourth victory in five fights, after he narrowly defeated Jorge Lopez at UFC on FUEL TV 3. This will be Sadollah’s tenth professional fight, and tenth within the promotion.

UFC on FUEL TV 5 takes place on Septemeber 29th and marks the promotion’s first trip to Nottingham. This bout will undoubtedly take a spot on the main card.

Agreeded, this fight is made for Hardy to win. Amir is a pretty good striker with no real power. Amir also doesn’t have great takedowns, so you can be sure this will remain standing. I think Amir is a more technical striker…….but so was Ludwig.
