Time to get back to business.
Following his first loss in eight fights, and the first of his Strikeforce career, highly-touted Ovince St. Preux is returning to the cage to right what’s wrong. “OSP” ran through some tough competition in the Strikeforce cage, before he faced the ever-improving and always impressive Gegard Mousasi.
The light heavyweight fighter takes on fellow Strikeforce product T.J. Cook, who looks to rebound after having his own winning streak halted. Cook made his Strikeforce debut on short notice back in July, when he finished Lionel Lanham, but fell short against Trevor Smith at Strikeforce Challengers 20.
The bout, which is likely to find a spot on the preliminary card, takes place at the August 18th Strikeforce show in San Diego, which is expected to be headlined by a women’s bantamweight championship bout between Ronda Rousey and Sarah Kaufman.
