Georges St-Pierre ‘Full-Time Training’ Back Home In Canada

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has resumed training on a full-time basis, according to a post on his Facebook page recently.

St-Pierre tore his ACL last year in training, knocking him out of a planned bout with Nick Diaz. Instead, Diaz faced Carlos Condit for the interim UFC title, with Condit securing the victory.

UFC president Dana White has said that he hopes to pair GSP and Condit in November at UFC 154. The card takes place in Montreal.

“I’m back in Montreal and full-time training! Already tried a few kicks – right knee is super strong,” St-Pierre wrote.

It’s been well over a year since we last saw GSP defeat Jake Shields to retain his title.
