Trainer Cesar Gracie believes we will see Nick Diaz back inside the Octagon in the future.
Diaz announced his retirement from the sport earlier this year after a loss to Carlos Condit, and has remained retired since, much to the surprise of many.
Gracie, during a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, explained why he believes Diaz will be back fighting when he can. The Stockton bad boy is currently on suspension due to a failed drug test.
There’s retired and there’s retired. One day, you have a job and you retire, you’re retired. But Nick’s took young. I think the word can be used, how about temporarily retired? I think that would be a better thing about it; he’s temporarily retired.
Diaz is eligible to re-apply for his fight license this coming February.
