Michael Bisping would prefer to face the UFC middleweight champion in his return from a knee injury.
But, if that isn’t available, “The Count” has a couple of names atop his list of possible candidates.
“I would like to fight Brian Stann, he is a good fight,” said Bisping, while appearing on a recent episode of UFC Tonight. “Or I would like to fight Alan Belcher because he has been calling me out since forever. If his balls are big enough, he’ll call Joe Silva and ask him for the fight.”
Bisping was scheduled to face Tim Boetsch, but went under the knife to have his knee fixed. He has informed Silva, the UFC’s matchmaker, that he hopes to be ready to compete on the UFC 152 card in Toronto.
“The knee is healing nicely and it has been three weeks since the operation and I just started training,” Bisping said.
Bisping is 22-4 in his career, having just recently had his four-fight win streak snapped by Chael Sonnen.
