Four fighters generated paychecks of at least $40,000 from their fights at UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman Wednesday night.
The numbers, obtained by MMA Junkie from the California State Athletic Commission, showed Aaron Simpson with the biggest pay day. “A-Train,” who was debuting at welterweight, brought home $46,000 for his victory over Kenny Robertson.
Chris Weidman, who defeated Mark Munoz in the main event, picked up $44,000. Munoz and Rafael dos Anjos each had at least $40,000 awarded.
These numbers do not include any locker room or sponsor bonus given to the fighters. They are just the reported salaries earned.
